PLANNING PINCH ME MOMENTS since 2016

Aside from its rocky shorelines, charming lighthouses, and fairytale-worthy forests—Maine is known for its lobster (but we probably don’t need to tell you that). It’s both our lifelong love for this stunning state—and our desire to create pinch-me moments—that inspired our name.

What is a pinch-me moment? It’s a little pocket of surprise and delight. A moment that stops you in your tracks, causes you to pause, and leads to the most pleasing kind of presence. It’s that rare brand of bliss that occurs when the line between your wildest dreams and your current reality has been completely blurred in the best possible way.

Here, pinch-me moments are always our end goal. They’re the reason we brainstorm bold ideas and go big on the rare and unexpected. They’re what transform a wedding from a surface-level celebration into a meaningful, rich gathering that stays with you and your favorite people for a lifetime to come. They’re our North Star, our everyday inspiration, and the gift we feel so honored to give you and yours.

THIS MOMENT MAY BE FLEETING, BUT THE FEELINGS IT EVOKES SHOULD LIVE ON FOR A LIFETIME TO COME.

Hi, I’m Christina

FOUNDER | PRINCIPAL WEDDING PLANNER | LEAD WEDDING DESIGNER

Before I ever dove into the world of high-end destination wedding planning, I worked in product development and design for corporations ranging from Wayfair to L.L.Bean. That other lifetime helped me hone my design acumen and my ability to organize and execute even the most multifaceted projects—two skills I rely on daily as your Maine wedding planner.

Fast-forward to 2016 when my friends were all getting engaged. Knowing I had an extensive design background—and a brain that was detail obsessed and constantly organizing things— one by one, they started asking me to plan their weddings. I fell fast in love with the art of wedding planning and design around the same time life threw me the curveball of a cancer diagnosis. I suddenly saw how everything could change in a split second—which gave me an entirely new appreciation for taking time to celebrate with family and friends. After a moment of pause, I was clear in the fact that I wanted to control how I spent my time, who I spent it with, and the contributions I made to this world…so I quit my day job, founded Pinch Me Planning, and never looked back at a 9-to-5 again.

Today, my team and I have countless coastal Maine weddings and a handful of industry awards to our name—but nothing compares to the fulfillment I get from helping you and yours remain present for the moments you can’t get back. While I’m incredibly detail oriented and obsessed with artful design—more than anything, I’m here to bring you bliss. I thrive off of creating joy just as much as I thrive off of curating an unexpected color palette or adventurous-meets-timeless event aesthetic.
