WHAT’S INCLUDED
You’ll walk away with a clear path forward to turn all of those ideas bouncing around in your mind into a beautiful wedding. This foundational service is all about teeing you up for success and is completed within one VIP day—it does not include ongoing or on-site services or vendor/venue communication (which makes it a perfect option to pair with services from your venue or outside coordinator).
THREE DESIGN MEETINGS IN ONE DAY
Expect an incredibly potent day consisting of a series of three virtual calls (a Kickoff Call, a Design Review Call, and a Wrap-Up Call) with Christina, PMP’s founder. We’ll work our magic in between each session—and you’ll have the ability to easily comment and collaborate on what we’ve created.
ROOM/TENT LAYOUT & DESIGN
We’ll translate your vision to fit the exact floor plan and existing design of your chosen venue—ultimately creating a master plan you can follow to orchestrate your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception design.
ALL-INCLUSIVE 12-PAGE LOOK BOOK
Your custom wedding-design look book includes both initial and finalized design boards—and gives a cohesive visual overview of: the overall event feel, rentals and décor, flowers, stationery, and special touches. Covering everything from color palette and tabletop options to seating and so much more—think of this as the North Star you and your vendors can refer back to time and time again.
ACCESS TO PINCH ME PLANNING’S PROPRIETARY WORKSHEETS

DESIGN IN-A-DAY PROCESS
what to expect
Aside from a few details we’ll need you to provide us upfront, everything is completed in one crazy-inspiring, deeply collaborative day where you’ll work one-on-one with our owner and lead designer, Christina. Here’s how the process works…
BOOKING YOUR VIP DAY
After scheduling your design day on our calendar, we will send along a contract to sign and an invoice to pay in full. Once you’ve scheduled your day, signed your contract, and paid your invoice, you’re officially on our calendar—and the fun begins!
BEFORE YOUR VIP DAY
We’ll send over a detailed questionnaire you’ll need to have completed at least two weeks prior to your design day. You’ll also send us your venue measurements, allowing us to create a master design plan that’s customized to your specific venue. Finally, our team will spend ample time reviewing your inspiration images before we officially meet.
ON YOUR VIP DAY
We’ll have three scheduled virtual meetings over the course of your day. In between meetings, you’ll provide comments where needed using collaborative online tools—and we’ll continue to hone your lookbook based on your feedback. Throughout the course of the day, you can expect…

Before I became an awarded Maine wedding planner and designer, I worked in product development and design for brands ranging from Wayfair to L.L.Bean. That other lifetime helped me hone both my design acumen and ability to organize multifaceted projects on tight timelines—two skills that define the way we’ll work together during your design day.

ANSWERS TO YOUR PRESSING QUESTIONS
CAN YOU RECOMMEND VENDORS?
The Design In-A-Day service does not include any coordination of vendors or project management, but we can suggest local vendors for your project if we have a resource. You would then be responsible for requesting quotes and contracting with them directly.
WHAT IF IT’S NOT MY STYLE?
Design In-A-Day is a quick-turnaround, limited service—and the more details you share about your preferences in your questionnaire and inspiration images, the more likely we will be able to nail your design on the first try. Sometimes we'll include a few options if we see several that could work; other times, we'll provide what we believe is the best option for your event and venue.
In the event you'd like additional options, we recommend using our suggestions as a reference for style, size, color, pattern, finish, etc. as you find something more to your liking.
WHERE DO YOU SOURCE ITEMS?
We select a combination of inspiration images and rental items based on what you share in your design questionnaire about your budget and the look you’re hoping to achieve. We always try to source rental items from local vendors whenever possible.
ON AVERAGE, HOW MUCH DO YOUR DESIGNS COST TO EXECUTE?
Each wedding is completely unique, but the typical design-in-a-day couple spends between $600-1,200 per guest on their wedding. This ensures you have the budget to execute the design plan we provide—because we want to make sure what you walk away with isn’t just beautiful, but practical and actionable.
