A Heartfelt Coastal Wedding on the Falmouth Foreside
On a sunlit August afternoon, Abby and Michael celebrated their vows at a beloved family estate on the Falmouth Foreside, a place steeped in coastal tranquility. Overlooking Casco Bay, the ceremony was heartfelt, with laughter woven in, a few tears, and the unmistakable feeling of intimacy that comes from hosting at home rather than in a traditional venue. Along the shoreline, a sweeping sailcloth tent invited guests into a serene blue-and-white haven. Printed linens, airy florals, and warm wooden accents echoed the natural beauty of the waterfront. Overhead, a layered mix of natural fiber pendants, classic drum shades, and delicate glass orbs created dimension and warmth. The effect was relaxed but refined, blending texture and light in a way that felt both coastal and quietly elegant. Custom notes for every guest, hand-painted buoys, and thoughtful details at every turn added to the sense of care and intention. This celebration was thoughtfully designed, deeply personal, and completely tied to its setting — a day that felt less like something created and more like something lived.
