Alison and Jason are one of the most relaxed couples we have worked with. From the beginning they completely trusted Pinch Me Planning to guide them in the right direction with details and logistics, with their main focus on planning a great dance party (hence, hiring BOSS for their band). Family and friends traveled from near and far to celebrate these two. Jason and Alison met in college at Cornell University so the wedding day was almost an elevated college reunion, with their friends celebrating the couple they had watched grow since the very beginning. The majority of the bridal party was on the Crew team at Cornell, so no detail was left out. From their seating chart displayed on Crew oars to table numbers printed on flags, these college sweethearts incorporated their love story in unique ways for their wedding day.

MEET THE COUPLE

1)  How did you and your partner meet?

Jason and I met in college. We were both on the rowing team at Cornell and although we had lots of mutual friends our freshman year, we didn't start dating until the beginning of sophomore year. That was 9 years ago now and the rest is history...

2)  What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?

It's hard to pick just one! A very special moment for me was walking down the boardwalk to the ceremony with my Dad. The wooded sanctuary at Flanagan Farm is beautiful, surrounded by tall, majestic trees. As I approached our friends, family and Jason waiting at the end of the aisle, I no longer felt nerves, just pure joy.

3)  Favorite part about having a planner from PMP :) ?

Christina's expertise in guiding me through the planning process and Lena's organization as our day-of coordinator were so valuable. It was really challenging to plan a wedding during the pandemic and Christina helped me navigate every step of the way from guiding me towards skilled and professional vendors, to finding necessary rentals when availability was limited, to interpreting evolving covid-related rules and regulations. By the day of our wedding, Lena knew the ins and outs of every detail, which allowed me to really focus on enjoying the day with my friends and family. I was able to trust PMP with our wedding planning and coordination because I felt through the whole planning process that they would do whatever it took to make the wedding happen seamlessly and they delivered!
